Requests are directed to the appropriate Smithco team based on material, fabrication or emergency requirements.
Material RFQs & Orders
RFQs, bills of material and line-item material requests are reviewed for specification, grade, size, quantity, availability and schedule. Smithco then provides pricing and lead-time information based on the applicable specifications, quantities and schedule requirements.
Fabrication & Engineered Packages
Fabrication RFQs, drawings, bills of material and engineered project requirements are reviewed by Smithco for estimating, material requirements, fabrication requirements and applicable specifications. When certified fabrication or qualified procedures are required, Smithco coordinates the applicable certification, procedure and documentation requirements through the appropriate fabrication and technical resources.
Emergency Call-Out
Emergency material requirements receive priority response through Smithco’s 24/7 call-out service. For shutdowns, critical material needs or other time-sensitive requirements, call 888-727-4044 for immediate coordination rather than submitting the standard request form.
